Knoll Modernism Prize
Modern masterpieces—irreplaceable structures in the history of architecture—are being routinely demolished, disfigured, or abandoned. As a dedicated steward to the communities where we work and live, Knoll is the founding sponsor of the World Monuments Fund Modernism at Risk program.
World Monuments Fund (WMF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the world’s architectural heritage. The Modernism at Risk initiative helps ensure a future for great architecture from the less-distant past. One of the ways it does this is through the World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize, awarded biennially to a designer or design firm whose work enhances public awareness of the seminal role that modernism plays in the built environment.
